Winter is approaching and with it all the hype about Christmas. Most of Munich has already set up lights in the stores, trees in the windows.. you name it. Without Thanksgiving to celebrate, why wait any longer to prepare for Christmas? The weather went from a heat wave to snow (even though it didn't stick) within a week and the last leaves have fallen.
Last night I got together with Emma and James and we decided to cook a Turkish meal with Bulgur and fresh Turkish Saffron that James had brought back from the Istanbul spice market. We talked about traveling, and all the places there are to see in Europe. Speaking of which.. I leave for Rome in two days!
